BC Transit distributes GradPASS

Grads throughout the province, including in Abbotsford, receive free two-day transit passes.

BC Transit is rewarding the class of 2013 with special passes that provide two days of free, unlimited travel during June.

GradPASS will be given to students throughout the province, including Abbotsford.

Students scratch off their two chosen travel days on the pass, and show the card to their bus driver. The pass is not transferable.

GradPASS was first introduced in Vancouver in 1988 as part for the CounterAttack program.

The Victoria Regional Transit System introduced the program in 1990. Over the past 23 years, the number of participating communities has grown.
