Staff at Tabor Village in Abbotsford have a campaign underway to help their residents feel special this Christmas.
The goal of the Stocking 4 Seniors campaign is to see every one of the 262 seniors at Tabor Village receive a stocking.
The public is asked to make a donation from now until Dec. 7, and then staff will shop for items to fill the stockings. Every stocking will be catered to each individual resident’s wants, needs, and interests.
The stockings might include items such as warm socks, treats and decor items.
Tabor Village is entering every donor into a draw for a chance to win on of three gift cards to a local business.
A donation of $50 provides one senior with a stocking and gives the donor one entry into the draw.
A $100 donation provides two seniors with stockings and one entry into a draw to win a $100 gift card.
