The Abbotsford branch of the Royal Canadian Legion presented bursaries on Sunday to graduating high school students.
The bursaries were presented by Abbotsford Legion president Heinz Kempf and bursary chairwoman Neta Stowell.
Receiving their $1,000 bursaries at the presentation were Nicole Harvey, Kylee Hickey, Evan Dahl and Jensen Bako.
Also named as recipients were Benjamin Mehrer, Puneet Gill, Dallas Stevenson, Amna Hadzovic and Maureen Huang. One of them received a $5,000 bursary, another received a $3,000 award, and the other three received $1,000.
