The Abbotsford Community Foundation (ACF) has allocated 347 scholarship and bursary awards totaling more than $354,000 to graduating students for their post-secondary education.

Student awards are funded by income from endowments and from annual donations.

“Thanks to the generosity of many community groups, companies and individuals, this year we have a record number of awards available to help students planning to continue on with their education – including university, college and training institutions – this coming fall,” said Wendy Neufeld, ACF executive director.

This year there are several new student awards, including CIBC Wood Gundy, GirlKIND, Letisha Reimer Legacy and Tri-Links System Inc.

The following high schools are part of ACF’s Student Awards Program: Abbotsford Senior, Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts (ASIA), Abbotsford Traditional, Bakerview Centre for Learning, Mennonite Educational Institute, Rick Hansen, Robert Bateman, W. J. Mouat and Yale.
