Spin4Kids, a fundraiser for the GoodLife Kids Foundation, takes place in Abbotsford on Saturday, March 4.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at GoodLife Fitness (32500 South Fraser Way), one of 65 locations across Canada taking part.

Spin4Kids is a coast-to-coast one-day indoor event that involves participants spinning on stationary bikes to raise pledges.

Participants can form teams of eight, who each ride for one hour.

This year, the money raised supports two initiatives – the GoodLife4Kids school program, in which educators teach fitness skills to Grade 4 students at no cost to schools; and the GoodLife4Kids grant program, which provides funding for programs for kids with special needs.

This year’s national goal is $1.2 million. Visit spin4kids.com for more information or to register.
