100 years and counting
Les Kitchen of Abbotsford celebrated his 100th birthday on Feb. 6 with family and friends.
Les was born on Feb. 6, 1913 in Avonlea, Sask. and lived most of his life in the rural area south of Saskatoon.
Les is the last surviving member of a family of nine.
He moved to Abbotsford in April 2012. He still enjoys playing cards and the occasional visit to the casino.
