'Strengthening Families Together' begins
The British Columbia Schizophrenia Society is offering a free course to educate and support family members of a person suffering from mental illness.
Classes for the program “Strengthening Families Together” run once a week for 10 weeks, starting Feb. 21. The sessions take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Topics covered include the different types of mental illness, medications and treatment, and how to cope.
