Runners take off for the beginning of the Terry Fox Run at Elwood Park on Sunday. The rejuvenated Abbotsford run had 250 participants and 100 volunteers this year. They raised $6,500 so far, with more donations to come. It has been 32 years since Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and each year more than a million Canadians take part in fundraising runs, and have garnered more than $600 million for cancer research.
