Chris, a volunteer at Elizabeth’s Wildlife Centre, shows visitors the feeding of mealworms to rescued birds during a weekend open house. Over Saturday and Sunday afternoons, hundreds of visitors saw the centre, and donated more than $2,000 to the facility for injured and orphaned animals.
