Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center opens doors to public
Elizabeth’s Wildlife Center’s annual open house is set for Aug. 25-26.
Each year, Elizabeth Melnick, creator of the centre, opens her doors to the public to raise both awareness and funds.
Visitors can see some of the wild babies and recovering patients during a tour of the facility.
The animal shelter is run thanks to donations from the public and the support from several veterinarians.
The weekend open house includes refreshments, raffle prices face-painting and more.
Doors open at noon and close at 4 p.m.
Elizabeth’s Wildlife Centre is located at 32508 Verdon Way, Abbotsford.
