Gaming grants in Abbotsford
Two local organizations have received a total of $48,200 in community gaming grants from the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development.
The Abbotsford Judo Club received $33,200, and the Pacific Steelers Female Hockey Association received $15,000.
The groups were among 137 recipients who shared almost $3.8 million in the latest round of grants from provincial gaming revenue.
Grant recipients in this round of funding offer programs in arts and culture, human and social services, and sport.
