Abbotsford Mayor Bruce Banman taking Leap of Faith
Abbotsford Mayor Bruce Banman will be one of several participants in this year’s Leap of Faith fundraiser.
The annual event has local dignitaries and other guests sky dive in order to help raise money and awareness for the Cyrus Centre, an inner-city mission that helps meet the basic needs of at-risk, homeless youth and their families. Past Leap of Faith events have featured jumpers ranging in age from 18 to 81.
This year’s leap takes place June 16 at 10 a.m at the Abbotsford Sky Dive Centre at 5112 Gladwin Rd.
