It's Clean-Up Week in Abbotsford
April 23-30 is Community Clean-Up Week, a beautification initiative that occurs annually during the last week of April.
Residents who register at the Abbotsford Exhibition Park office (32470 Haida Dr.) will receive a kit with instructions, garbage pickers, safety vests, gloves and “Keeping Our City Clean” garbage bags.
All residents are encouraged to participate by registering to pick up litter around their workplace, neighbourhood and community parks.
The designated “Keeping Our City Clean” garbage bags can be put out with the regular garbage pick-up without an extra garbage sticker.
