SPCA in Abbotsford seeks council volunteers
The BC SPCA’s Abbotsford branch is seeking people to sit on a community council to help achieve the society’s mission of protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in the region.
The councils offer guidance and assistance in a wide variety of areas, including community outreach, humane education, volunteer development and support, advocacy and fundraising.
Community council members will be elected at the branch’s annual general meeting on March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Police Office, 105-34194 Marshall Rd.
