Abbotsford food bank benefits from Megadeath tour
Capt’n Crunch Recycling and Momento Mori Studios each have a pair of tickets to give away for Megadeath’s popular Gigantour in return for a donation to the Abbotsford Community Services’ Food Bank.
With a donation of a minimum of 100 pounds of metal, or $5 to the food bank, participants can enter the Capt’n Crunch ticket raffle.
The local recycling service, located at 34314 Vye Rd., will be accepting metal such as fridges (drained), dishwashers, stoves, lawn mowers, vehicles, etc. and donating approximately $170 per tonne of metal to the food bank until the draw date of Feb. 18. Call 604-855-1644 for more information.
Memento Mori Studios is also giving away two tickets to the hard rock concert. Stop by the tattoo studio at #111-2070 Sumas Way with your $5 donation before Feb. 17 to enter their draw.
People wishing to donate directly to the food bank are encouraged to drop by their Abbotsford location at 33914 Essendene Ave. Items currently needed include canned fruit and meat, powdered milk, large diapers, pasta and sauce. Visit abbotsfordfoodbank.com for the complete list.
