The Valley Concert Society
The Valley Concert Society presented The Bergmann Duo on Friday, May 6 at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium.
Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann have been performing together as a duo since they received first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy.
In 1993 they became members of the young artists’ roster of Yehudi Menuhin- Now.
Their recitals and concert appearances are international.
They are presently on the faculty of Mount Royal College in Calgary, members of the End Chamber Ensemble, and recipients of the 2005 and 2006 Western Canadian Awards for Outstanding Classical Recording.
