Hotels, restaurants and grocery stores in Abbotsford will have a chance to look at options for disposing of food waste without bringing it to landfills.
The city is holding meetings to look at other solutions, such as composting, for commercial food service and processing.
Businesses and any others can attend information meetings held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 15, 16 and 29, in the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium Foyer, at 32315 South Fraser Way.
