Daryl Francoeur, co-owner of 360 Frabrication, explains his company’s car customization process to Chinese consul genereal Liu Fei.

Chinese Consul General Liu Fei visited Abbotsford’s 360 Fabrication on Tuesday morning.

She was joined by a delegation of about a dozen of her colleagues from the consulate in Vancouver.

They toured the car customization facilities, where brothers Rick and Daryl Francoeur modify, paint, and completely refurbish cars of all types.

“With over 57 years of combined experience, the owners and brothers Rick and Daryl Francoeur have been creating and customizing anything with wheels and some things without,” their site reads.

The 22,000-sq.-ft. facility on Peardonville Road is the largest of its kind, according to its website. In addition to refurbishing and customizing cars, the Francoeurs’ business also installs audio in both vehicles and boats.

The site also states that the business has won thousands of awards for its projects in its short 11-year existence.

Fei heads the Chinese consulate general in Vancouver and represents her country’s government in the region.
