Holowaty named assistant GM at AESC

The Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre has an new assistant general manager

Global Spectrum has named Jacque Holowaty as the newest member of the facilities management team.

“Jacque is a great example of personal growth and success in our company,” said Global Spectrum’s Jason Blumenfeld, general manager of the AESC.

“After starting out as a part-time Box Office ticket seller, Jacque took advantage of every opportunity and challenge that she was given.”

Holowaty, an eight-year Global Spectrum employee first began her career at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado as a part-time box office ticket seller. While in Loveland, she was promoted to assistant box office manager.  She then moved to Penticton to open the box office and set up the ticketing system at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Continuing her growth, she relocated to Abbotsford in 2009 to assist in opening up the venue as box office manger and most recently added the role of guest services manager.

She received a degree in Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism from Colorado State University.
